NCYFC will be well represented at The Block Party this year. From 4-6pm Higher Grounds will have our crazy specialty bikes for riding and selling cotton candy in the Squeaky's Laundrymat parking lot 8th Ave and 16th Street. The Farm will have ramps across the street for an all night skate session. Stop by and say hello.
Ryan, Jeff, and April went to YFC Camp to work, but also check it out and see if it would be a good fit for the kids that we work with in northern Colorado. The camp was located in Woodland Park CO. We were very impressed. The kids that came were mostly unchurched and non-believers. Amber Jost the director of this YFC Camp does a great job to bring the kids on a journey that starts on the first day. The progression of the story brings kids along and leads to the cross by the end of the week. We had the opportunity to take with us Adam and Nathan and throughout the week we chronicled our trip through video. Hope you enjoy.
We are debuting our campaign to get 100 people to sign up for $15 monthly automatic withdrawal donations to go to EVERYTHING a.k.a. our general operating budget. This covers the bills that we need to do ministry, for example liability insurance, phone, software, internet, office supplies. Most importantly, when bills are paid all our progarms continue, including Higher Grounds, The Farm Skate and Snow ministry, Drug and Alcohol Prevention, After School Program, Prom and others plus ensures future growth.
If you could afford 50 cents a day to help keep the doors open click here and choose $15 for Everything
