For the last 17 years Youth for Christ, through Higher Grounds, has been providing an amazing prom experience for students in our area.

Prom is an important rite of passage for any high school student. Unfortunately, many students can’t afford the experience or they go to an alternative school without a prom. On average, prom costs $1139 per couple (USA Today Study).

Youth for Christ aims to provide the best prom experience for every student free of charge.

Free dresses, jackets, and ties. Free food. Free entertainment, including live music and decorations. Help with hair and makeup. Free prom photos. A red carpet experience. And more.

Each year, we look for people and businesses in the community willing to help support this event. You will receive more than just the feeling that you helped a student have the night of their lives.

A donation of $250 gets your name or company logo on the “Red Carpet Backdrop” (all the students get their pictures taken in front of the backdrop as they enter), photos featuring your business logo are uploaded on social media for the public (great advertising), and your company will be featured in our post prom newsletter and on our website. A donation of $500 will get you everything listed above along with an additional banner that is hung up in Higher Grounds all year.
